Peter's History
IT Degree at Kenyatta University
During this period, I pursued my IT degree at Kenyatta University, where I gained a solid foundation in various aspects of information technology. My coursework included structured programming in C++, Java, and Python, database management systems, object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms, and web development.
Internship at DataPosit Ltd
As part of my academic journey, I completed an internship at DataPosit Ltd. Here, I gained practical experience in systems installation and configuration tasks, data networking and communication, network cable termination, formatting computers, and providing technical support to non-IT staff. It was a valuable opportunity to apply my knowledge in a real-world setting.
Tutor at By Faith and Hope Academy
For a year, I worked as a tutor at By Faith and Hope Academy. My responsibilities included teaching students computer skills, offering user support, conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, setting up networks, and designing and developing suitable computer instructional materials.
Python Programmer
During this time frame, I engaged in Python programming freelancing, where I specialized in developing an automated betting system using Selenium and Python. It was a challenging and rewarding experience that allowed me to apply my coding expertise in a unique context. My journey has been characterized by continuous learning, practical application, and a commitment to delivering high-quality IT solutions. Beyond design, I educate Website and Computer related subjects through live teaching and YouTube tutorials.
